Re-cap for the 4 th and Final FIMLA Damn the Dam Golf tournament
Saturday June 28, 2025

The day started off very scary with fierce rain as golf registration started. But the Gods were in
our favour, it passed and off we went!

In the 4 years of the tournament the community has raised close to $30,000 with seed money in
place for 2026.

A beautiful afternoon of golf with 86 golfers from the community thank you all!

We proceeded to the Lion’s Hall and joined over 25 more community members for dinner. We enjoyed a fantastic meal prepared by Kelsey’s and Montana’s. Thanks to Tim and Stasy Lloyd who prepared pulled pork with all of the fixings, and a great vegetarian burger – with
Hagen Daz ice cream bars to finish. Great work by Dave Lucas and Karen DeLuca for the
kitchen work, and all of the volunteers!
